It says a lot about a pitcher when he can throw 7 innings, allow only 2 runs (1 earned), strike out 9 opponents (4 C; 5 SC), and still be said to have had somewhat of an "off" day. But such is the standard this bolg's muse has set. Everyone was all like, "wait what, he didn't pitch a complete game shutout!? Get out of the city!" It's true, the mere hint of Roy's mortality turns people into Balki Bartokomous.
But yeah, Roy's now 6-1, and his season ERA sits at 1.45.
p.s. this post was actually written like three days ago. Roy's just that consistent
