Listen, I know it's easier to just be a misery chick and whine about how the Phils just lost three out of four in Pittsburgh and Chase Utley's hurt and giant head is too and Chooch is too dizzy to even recognize ice cream and we never should have traded Cliff Lee and Dave Sardineface and Exxon Valdez are in the line-up and our bullpen stinks and yeah yeah yeah we get it. But here's the thing: sh*t's not always easy, kids. There, a life lesson. So for today, for the right now, we have the Braves coming into our place. And even though they're led by All-Star raker Omar Infante, we have HLHIII on the hill. Check it, donkey face: this series represents a big opportunity to make up some games from a- I'll say it, dammit- make-upable deficit.
As for Infante, when pressed on the question he deftly tried to avoid- facing Halladay:
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
