So Roy Halladay Pitched Yesterday (2.28.11 vs Blue Jays)

Roy Halladay, who I want to go to the zoo with, threw two innings of shutout ball yesterday (no for real I thought you had a chance, the Blue Jays) in Dunedin. When asked of his approach in facing the 2010 NL Cy Young Award winner, Rajai Davis called upon his favorite writer, Joseph Conrad, in faintly replying, "It occurred to me...that indeed any action of mine would be a mere futility."

Perhaps of greater interest than the six broken faces left in the wake of Halladay's performance was this note from Ryan Lawrence:
