ReplyDeleteMy husband (a Twins fan, poor man) has already asked if our daughter, arriving in November, can be as awesome as Awesome Emma. She's been to a few Phils games in utero this season, and they've all been wins (including Thome's awesome walk-off HR and Cliff's first win), so that's a start... But yeah. This is awesome. Cole & JRoll = nicest interviews ever.

Someone told me they thought Emma was my daughter, I guess because I was standing next to her. I was speechlessly flattered because if I ever have a daughter, I hope she'll be as awesome as Awesome Emma.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I have to give a major shout out to Awesome Emma's Mom - this girl is so well-mannered and polite - I love how she calls all the players Mr. and says "nice to meet you." As a mom, I would be bursting with pride if this were my kid. I really love Cole Hamels for allowing her to do the red carpet for his event. All the players were great to her. I almost died at the Swag-O-Meter. Alright Emma and ZWR!
