Cutter in the Wind (Getting Dusty in Here...)

by Internet Celebrity Bobby Big Wheel

Goodbye Harry Leroy
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to hold runners
While those around you balked
They crawled out of the batters box
They whiffed on strikes at the plate
And when you went to the zoo after
You made sure you were never late

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a cutter in the wind
Never knowing where it'd go
Until Chooch caught it
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a fan
Your cutter burned out long before
Your legend ever can

Being so cuttered was tough
The toughest role you ever played
Ruben Amaro created a superstar
And pain was the price you paid
Even when you retired
Oh the bolgs still hounded you
All the boners had to say
Was that Roy still goes to the zoo

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a cutter in the wind
Never knowing where it'd go
Until Chooch caught it
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a fan
Your cutter burned out long before
Your legend ever can

Goodbye Harry Leroy
From the young man in the 700 seats
Who sees you as something as more than so cuttered
More than just our hero in cleats

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a cutter in the wind
Never knowing where it'd go
Until Chooch caught it
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a fan
Your cutter burned out long before
Your legend ever can
